Camping Barn

Causeway Foot Farm is a small family run sheep and dairy farm set in the magnificent scenery of the Naddle Valley, just outside Keswick.

Our camping barn is available for the exclusive use of your family or group. The two storey barn is in a quiet location 100 metres from the farmstead and the A591, Keswick to Windermere road. There is parking for 4 or 5 cars. There’s a regular bus service into Keswick, or to Grasmere, Ambleside and Windermere.

Our facilities include:

Ground floor – kitchen with range cooker (5 burner gas hob and two electric ovens), fridge, microwave, and toaster. The sink has hot & cold running water and there are pans, crockery and cutlery. There is a dining area with tables & chairs.

Upper floor – Sleeps 16 (in bunkbeds) with mattresses, please bring your own sleeping bag and pillow.

There are power points throughout and two electric heaters.

The toilet block is 50 metres from the barn and has separate ladies and gents rooms with toilets, wash basins and showers.

Prices in 2026 are £175 per night for Fridays and Saturdays, all other nights are £125 per night. Seven nights cost £875. There is a minimum stay of two nights.

The price includes gas for the cooker, and hot water and showers in the toilet block. Electricity in the barn is supplied through a £1 coin meter.
